The tomb of the
three brothers is 500 m far from Palmyra Cham Hotel. The entrance
consists of an underground basement in a T shape, to be descended to
by a staircase of 25 steps. It includes three graves decorated with
funeral statues in the style common in Palmyras archaeological tombs.It was necessary to
furnish the tomb with lighting to make it suitable for receiving
visitors and tourists. Therefore, Osmane Mounif AIDI Foundation for
Heritage, Culture and Sciences resorted to supply the tomb with
electricity and provided a regular electric panel, and installed
electric lights in its three parts to ensure the best lighting and
display the beauty of its decorations and
engravings.
Today the tomb is open to
visitors and tors and tors and tors and tors and tors and tors and touristic groups under the supervision of the
museum of Palmyra. |
