In participation with the cultural center of the Pantheon, Paris
Municipality, the General Directorate of Antiquities and Museums in
Damascus, and the Syrian Arab Company for Touristic Establishments Cham
for Hotels, the exhibition included art works and antique pieces
belonging to Palmyra and its queen Zenobia, of which there were rare
statues, sculptured scenes, applied arts in metal, pottery, and glass,
gold jewelry and ring stones.The opening ceremony included the speech of

Foundation for Heritage, Culture and Sciences made by
Eng. Dr. Osmane AIDI, speaking of the importance of Syrias civilizations and its
cultural heritage, and drawing attention to the role which Palmyra
played as a main station on the famous commercial route the silk road.
